About Inward Healing Therapy
Welcome to Inward Healing Therapy
I’m Samantha, a licensed therapist and the founder of Inward Healing Therapy. I’m passionate about providing quality therapy that helps people get to the root of what they’re struggling with so they can create lasting change in their relationships, everyday lives, and the way they feel about themselves.
At Inward Healing Therapy, we are intentional about building a practice with culturally affirming therapists who believe in going beyond surface-level work. We want to understand you as a whole person, including the cultures, identities, relationships, and experiences that have shaped who you are. Our therapists continue to deepen their training in approaches that support both the mind and body, so we can help you not only understand your patterns, but begin to change them.
My hope for everyone who starts therapy at Inward Healing Therapy is that they can heal inwardly and discover more of who they are beneath the pain and past experiences that may have been shaping their lives. You don’t have to have experienced a “big” trauma to seek support. If something is affecting your life, your relationships, or the way you feel about yourself, it matters. As long as you’re ready to do the work and want to grow, we’re ready to meet you there.
We’re here to help you understand what has been keeping you stuck, heal what is still hurting, and build a life and relationships that feel more like your own. The life you want can start with healing what’s been holding you back.
If you’re ready to see what therapy could look like for you, we’d love to meet you. Schedule a free consultation, and we’ll help you find the therapist on our team who feels like the right fit.
How We Help
We believe quality therapy requires more than being a good listener. It also means continuing to learn, grow, and deepen our skills so we can provide care that is thoughtful, effective, and tailored to the person in front of us.
Our therapists bring different specialties, backgrounds, and approaches to their work. Across our team, we have completed additional training in areas such as:
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Brainspotting
- Trauma and PTSD
- Complex trauma and childhood trauma
- Attachment and relationship patterns
- Somatic and mind-body approaches
- Culturally responsive and affirming care
We don’t believe in using the same approach with every client. We draw from our training to understand what you need and tailor therapy to you. Sometimes that means learning practical tools to manage anxiety, emotions, or relationship challenges in the present. Other times, it means looking deeper at where certain beliefs and patterns came from and working through the experiences that may still be affecting you today.
Our goal is to help you do more than understand why you feel the way you do. We want to help you use that understanding to create meaningful change in the way you feel, the choices you make, and the relationships you build.
